Forgotten Valentine
The world has passed her by Hiding in the shadows by day Another nameless face Never knowing quite what to say Never has she had a lover To hold her at night Saying the words That makes everything right Holidays come and go Can`t count all the years Sleeping alone in the dark Fighting back the tears Not once has she received A lover`s valentine Asking her the question Will you be mine
