I had to take a break from those steamy collabs of our fellow poets, Jack..Wow...I don't think I could ever write one of those, have YOU?...This poem reminds me of the the many trips I took to the cemetery by my childhood home...so many forgotten graves..Your question at the end is wonderfully poetic and the worn name is eerie! Great work AS ALWAYS! Gwendolen

This sounds weird, but I love to visit cemeteries and wonder about those names and try to put faces with them. I like your poem very much..congrats.

Many a time I've spent in these places meditating in the serenity of those who gave gone before me. Your poem is a vivid reminder that all that was is now past and can never be retrieved. Bravo for for this!

Reads like a winner to me..Enjoyed reading this afternoon..It is sad to see a grave that has been neglected a very long time but sometimes families die and sometimes the ancestors don't know about the grave..Great topic chosen and great presentation...Sara

This is a fabulous write Jack! You've done wondrously on this poem my friend! I just love your descriptions, the word "eroded" planted a special image into my mind of what this grave would look like! Great Work!!
