Forgivness

I was only 4 when you left home
i couldn't understand why
what did i do?
for i was your only girl
many nights i asked god for forgivness
i told him i was sorry and i would be a good girl
but my prayers were never heard and you never rturned

You moved on made yourself another home
didnt you know i cried everynight
didnt you know i believed you never wanted me
didnt you know you broke my heart life long

There is no forgetting but,
i have found forgivness and
i have moved on
i dont ask god to forgive me anymore
i ask god to forgive you
for you are not my daddy or my father
your just a man who had other plans...
