Forgiveness In Kind

Forgiveness is there only one way ‘You did me wrong…l forgive you, it’s ok’ Or can forgiveness happen without consent Never to excuse the persons true intent With time indifferent to both person and event Thoughts of them no longer present If reminded and the incident enters your mind No anger ,angst ,negativity of any kind Though never to accept what was imparted on you So saying ‘I forgive you ….just wouldn’t be true’ I believe this to be forgiveness in kind If peace and contentment reside in your mind
