Notes About The Poem

Forgiveness Heals

Forgiveness heals perceived insults Yet but a half measure When we embrace, our heart exults Then remains no fissure Love throbs, our heart smothers All souls are our brothers Know, there are no ‘others’ Soft touch appeals Forgiveness heals 27-December-2021 Quietus

When we understand this we can finally enjoy world peace "All souls are our brothers Know, there are no ‘others’" but not a second before.

Yes. A clear oneness experience is needed to recognise that ‘there are no others’

Love that first line! Yes, we can be hurt by our perceptions.

Once we accept all as they are, we don’t feel hurt, so the need to forgive doesn’t arise!
