Forgiveness

Forgiveness is hard.
Although I have recovered
From multiple wounds.

I try not to think.
Of your cruelty to me.
I wish you could see.

The power in me.
Now you no longer control
each and every move.

Forgiveness is hard.
Because you do not deserve
that I set you free.
