Forgiveness

Forgiveness

                                          Oh Lord, a contrite
                                   and broken heart and spirit
                                            you cannot reject

                                           In your abundance
                                     of mercy and compassion
                                             do not me forget

                                            My soul is grieving
                                 please pardon my transgressions
                                                I truly repent

                                          Shine your face again
                                          on this miserable man
                                              on you I depend.
