Forgiveness

A time when I was alone, A time when you were too. We found each other there, And we helped to make it through. I wouldn’t be without you; I’d keep you by my side. If hurt, I’d make them pay, Forever and a day. But I myself have hurt my friend, And I don’t know what to do. But I think I’d like to drop my spite, And crawl back to you if that’s alright.
