Hi Paula! Thank you my friend. I agree. Holding onto hurt begins to own us but, as you so wisely say, important to let go but many stay in that hurting place not allowing the healing to take place. Sending you all the blessings of the season.

I really like this, Sam. Like Victor says, it's inspirational. Not sure, but I think last two lines need to rhyme.

Thank you! I was so busy trying to get all the syllables right and the rhyming in the first two stanzas correct I missed the rhyme requirement in the last stanza! Many thanks!

So glad you liked this - there is so much to say about forgiveness in this concentrated form. Will check on the rhyme requirement for the last two lines. Thank you for the heads up! Will let you know what I find. ATB!

This feels like a serenity prayer, letting go of the weight of regret to accept the balm of foregiveness as you put it so eloquently~

What an absolutely lovely comparison Michelle. I am so honored. So much can be said about forgiving and being forgiven. I found this format to be both challenging and inspiring as it demanded condensing thoughts into succinct phrases. Thank you!
