Forgiveness
Let's all forget the law... for just a moment
Let's take a step backwards and let it sink in
I will always prefer choice over the alternative
For each choice, another lesson we can learn
Let's all leave the past... for the moment
Don't let the past conclude who you are
I've made a great number of my own mistakes
and each choice, another lesson I have learned
I have realized a great deal of forgiveness
I have realized, my own jury of one
For, I have been sentenced and time has been served
Let it go...
for no longer, are we who we were
