Forgive Us
What used to be theirs is now white man's domain
Taken through manifest destiny proclaimed
Treaties were made by the white man then broken
He knew that after the slaughter
Of women and children had begun that the great Indian nations
Would come undone
Yes the white man was sick even perverse in his quest
It seemed he enjoyed laying women and children to rest
Finally the great Chiefs said enough no more
So there Braves mounted horses and tried to make war
But the white man had decided that his way was best
And continue to lay more Indians to rest
So what was their crime and what did they do
To deserve all of the hell our forefathers put them through
May the Great spirit forgive you
