I enjoyed reading another one of your powerful Monoku writes. Again, few words in each one with much said. I forgive then let go. I let God handle it. He can do a better job than I can. I have seen it over the years. I know it can be very hard to forgive but best for us if we do. Have A Very Blessed Day............

I certainly won’t judge your comment or how you deal with forgiveness Paula, this one is about it’s relevance and abuse in my eyes, for me the benefit of doubt works better than forgiveness, thanks again for stopping by, cheers David

Our drama’s play out. God sees who we hurt or the messes we attempt to heal.God is patient and wise. Only us men jump to conclusions and too fast.

I believe you are correct Kim, on men/women jumping to conclusions and feeling compelled to forgive because a faith says you must, I for one do not believe it is true forgiveness, cheers David

A personal choice, not to be forced. Addressing the issue before hand insures a genuine forgiveness. I give forgiveness away like candy and the issue, no it's never resolved. Made me think, David. Cheers

Just let’s say someone wanted to forgive Hitler or one of those mad men, (not me) but you know what I mean, forgiveness just seems a very grey area :)

It’s a strange one Anaya which also got me thinking, if you forgive someone does god also forgive them too, or is that a separate issue altogether, which in turn could lead to all sorts of paradoxes, cheers David

Sometimes to forgive is difficult but we must forgive. Otherwise, we will fall into hate and that would make us sad.

Heya Victor, If one is 100% sure another deserves forgiveness then by all means do so, but not just because some belief system says that it is our duty to forgive, like I said to Daniel below, the benefit of doubt is sufficient for me, I believe to forgive someone if you have misgivings, and then are let down by them again is more likely to cause hate, and deeper sadness, cheers David

Dear David, You pose a profound question about the nature of forgiveness and judgment. The interplay between doubt and forgiveness is thought-provoking, prompting reflection on the complexities of human nature. I love how your words carry a deep sense of introspection and contemplation. This is a very insightful piece. - Blessings, My Friend, Daniel

Heya Daniel, I believe there are many ways of interpreting forgiveness, personally myself I don’t see any point in saying one should forgive, if they have any qualms whatsoever about the one looking for forgiveness, perhaps giving them the benefit of doubt is as far as I might go, and see how it goes from there, cheers David
