Forgive me Lord, for I have sinned
-- again, I have sinned again :(
I'm uncomfortable in my own skin
disgraced, defiled, by my own sin
Do you know everywhere I've been?
Did I hurt You, seeing all my sin? :(
Is this world safe-- to run, within
to You, when --I miss Your arms again
I'm ashamed and repent; lost my grin
wishing I'd never --ever-- sin again :(
Is there one reason now, to begin :O
-- again-- if I have sinned again??
With MercySong, sweeter than a violin
You woo me back, past my chagrin :D
Have mercy on us! Okay? You win! :)
You forgive and forget, again, again
But that's no excuse to sin-- again! :(
Doing wrong to teachers, friends, or kin
Your Truth sets free each sincere human
Open to Your Grace to be freed from sin
