Forgive Me, I Had Forgotten

I had forgotten, who you are I had chosen the wayward way I chose to shut you out because I wanted my own way But hey, I am here to say, I can no longer live this way I know now living with you is the best way So today, I will proclaim that I will no longer walk away I will take my shield, bear the pain And become that woman that once believed in your name I was created not in vain but because you believe I have a lot to gain.
