Forgive Me
Oh, Lord my God I bow my head in shame,
I ask for forgiveness for the lives I have brought pain.
For those I have ruined, and lies I have told, they did not deserver the abuse,
I caused them to suffer; now I stand here without an excuse.
I pray that you will judge me, for your judgement is perfect and just,
For man’s judgement will be twice more evil than what I have done in the past.
I come to you in a secret place that I may beg and plead,
For the things I thought were right and pretended to fulfil my every need.
I was drowned in the adultery, greed and lust that was offered to me,
I consumed my heavenly in heritance, blind I did not see.
To the floor I bow and cover my face, forgive me before it is too late.
You judgement Oh Lord is sweet and just; I tremble and patiently wait.
