Forgive

It's such a shame
how we hurt those we love
and condem the life they're living.
When In our hearts
we find it hard to forgive
yet we expect to be forgiven.

it is hard to forgive sometimes but we do it for our own peace of mind and to be free.

Hi John, forgiveness is so interesting and you deal with it in a fascinating and wise poem. It's a luxury to be forgiven for our mistakes. I think it takes a lot for someone to forgive...they have to get over the pain and hurt somehow. A lot to think about on both sides!

We must forgive if we have a chance in heaven to be forgiven ourselves. Not so hard then, but it still is hard, isn’t it…sometimes.

We all make mistakes sometimes and we're as stubborn as a mule but we should always try and be the better person and build bridges to forgiveness and friendship. Happy New year John. Tom

This is so true, I've seen it played out in my own life and family. There is one thing though, true forgiveness hinges on true repentance. There's the stickler
