Forget Your Lies

Tell your lies, tell more lies You think you've got good alibis! Twist the tale it's your big fail You're no Florence Nightingale You forget the past, within your grasp It leaves me standing much aghast Forgot your lies? That was not wise Your intent I only can surmise Take off your mask and drop the act I operate only on fact Flip the script - you're not legit Forget this I think I'm over it!!!

You call it free verse, I call it a rhyme, and very good use of internal rhymes as well. I’ve written several like this and I know it’s not easy. Nicely done, Sheila.
