Forever?...Or Never?

i used to think
 that
 we were always gonna be in love
...but i was so naive
there isn't anything in this life
that's guaranteed
you take your chances
when
you let your heart lead
i wanted to keep on loving you
you let me down
when
you said some things that were untrue
so
i'm giving you up
because
there isn't enough love
in this 
world
to
change my mind
we're out of time
...the dream is over
