Forever Is When I Say I Love You

Saying you love me means nothing
when your actions break an already dying heart
leaving me to walk in circles alone
searching for your sweet smile, lost in a blizzard

Heartfelt sorrow pierces my soul, my shame
leaving you to wonder of my sincerity
do not question my love, I'm real
forever and always yours

True kisses still linger across my teary cheeks
your sweet smile embeded in my memory remains
yet the darkness of your ink is drowning me
causing my portrait to blur in endless sadness

Walking tenderness holds my mind
visions and pine cone dreams
lay with me in yesterdays grass
wrapped in the comfort of angels wings

Tomorrow holds a darkness, unsure you want to enter
breaking the dying bondage, of a broken spirit
run with a promise of new beginnings
and then maybe I'll be yours for eternity

Destiny binds two broken vessels as one
filling them with the gift of love, eternal
blazing passion sets souls on fire
never again to be extinguished......
