Forever Is Much Sooner

Forever is much sooner than it seems
When anticipation fuels imagination,
Filling up a child’s fancied daydreams
Forever is much sooner than it seems,
Fashioned as it is in fantastic schemes
Complete with fanciful consummation,
Forever is much sooner than it seems
When anticipation fuels imagination.

Michael Tor Date: 9/6/2022 2:54:00 AM Time does go by quicker as you get older Milton but your right as a child it went by slower. I wonder why that is? I have lost so many friends and their forever ended. Each day should be lived to the fullest for we don't know when we will take our last breath. It was an inspiration to read this Milton. It reminded me of living fully and calling old friends and living my life and not having no regrets to look back on. Thank you for writing your Poetic thoughts are always refreshing to read...
