Forever In My Heart

You taught me things a grandparent should
You always made sure I knew right from wrong
We would just sit together doing crosswords all night long
I knew your favourite song was Danny boy
And to hear you sing that song just 1 more time
I would know your here just please give me a sign
I hope your happy and always looking down
I feel you grandma I just need you to make a sound
I miss you with everyday that passes
Every year I will be sure to raise them glasses
I miss how you used to say '' Jesus we buckets ''
When you made a mistake
And you always ate them Battenburg cakes
You was such an honour and inspiration to have in my life
You have now been reunited with grandad
His beautiful wife
Thank you grandma we will never be apart
And that's because your forever in my heart.

Sleep tight
