We'll miss the spring that was in your step When your dish rang like a bell, The way your beautiful eyes lit up When exploring a different smell, The pitter-patter of your paws As you paced 'til you got attention, The puppy in you when it was time to play, Your grin and your affection! Yes dear Sally, our yellow Lab, How we miss you so! We promise never to forget you, Never to let go.
