Notes About The Poem

Forever In a Moment

My Forever wasn’t even a second, 
Not even a blink of my eye, 
As your “beautiful” sped past me today, 
Leaving me pondering “Why?”

Why did our eyes reach out to each other, 
Why are you inside of my mind,
Why have you taken over my every thought, 
Why did you leave me behind.

These thoughts shook my hands today, 
We could’ve met for real, however,
These thoughts of you are all I have,
These thoughts are my after Forever.
