John Loving Iii Poet Epitaph

Forever and Today

Today I gave to April
my memories and my heart
I let myself hurt for her
with thoughts that would not depart
I gave her precious feelings
and held her in my mind
I still posses that part of April
that couldn't be stolen by time
I gave to God my message
that I've always had for her
I'll always keep her in my heart
allthough sometimes it hurts
And i sang the song God gave to me
just like I'd sing it to her
And with the words I gave my soul
the most valuable thing on earth
I love you from the distance
it is from heaven to here
I love you from time beginning
to even if time ends not there
I love you with my being
like I was made especially for you
I love you with what love is
a desire that will always be new
