I've never been happier with you by my side, Even if it was only for the night. Remembering the look in your eyes, And the smile upon your face, always brightened up my days. Can’t believe I’m letting you go, Waving goodbye to my happiness as you walk out that door, I watch you walk out that door, With my heart and happiness in your hands, You’ll never know what you truly meant, I don’t think I’ll ever love again, The way I loved you all along, Hearing your name just gave me butterflies alone, Seeing you made me have 1000 questions in my head, How long would you stay? If things would remain this way? If you ever felt the same way?
