Forever

A flight to the past and a thought forever.
Inside the heart, there is a rot forever.

A sly arrow hit the gazelle betrayed.
Stuck to a tree, it is caught forever.

Walking to the sea and hit by the tides
A slow demise, I have fought forever.

Did you do, what I asked you to do?
My benevolent, I can wait - but not forever

You have always been chosen, Mumtaz
Your gullible nature is sought forever.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.

Not bad Shadaab ... not bad at all. Ghazal is a very difficult form of poetry and you did well...
