Forever

My love… I will love you forever. Even when our muscles become too frail to support our bones against Earth’s gravity that has given us many glorious days I will love you forever. Even when our eyesight fails where only our memories can recall the beauty of youth I will love you forever. Even when our touch will weaken bearing way to only wrinkled and rough skin I will love you forever. For youth is only a state of mind and you’ll always be young to me my angel yet gently weathered I will love you forever. And with our last sunset and breath will crossover into a land of peace and forever harmony together I love you forever!

Dear Robert, This is such a beautiful and heartfelt poem, i also love the refrain here "I will love you forever." So raw and sincere and soulfully moving, a poem that depicts timeless love and devotion and a flame that would not dim, amidst passing seasons and age, true love no matter what will always stay strong and your poem is a reminder of that. "For youth is only a state of mind and you’ll always be young to me" so true! Pleasure reading your poem today! Sending you light today and always.
