We stand, we wait, we watch, we see Sheltered and warm, protected by the canopy Creatures calling, bugs crawling Feet float above the mist Strands of life lines severed slowly I fight, I bleed, I laugh, I cry Protecting mine with my fists Waters wash away, a midsummer day Need to defend, what words shall I say Touched once by a sofened hand We once more explore this land My soul and me again combined A perfect gift, so hard have I tried The feather whispers soft and lonly I have found my soul, my one and only
