Forest
We stand, we wait, we watch, we see
Sheltered and warm, protected by the canopy
Creatures calling, bugs crawling
Feet float above the mist
Strands of life lines severed slowly
I fight, I bleed, I laugh, I cry
Protecting mine with my fists
Waters wash away, a midsummer day
Need to defend, what words shall I say
Touched once by a sofened hand
We once more explore this land
My soul and me again combined
A perfect gift, so hard have I tried
The feather whispers soft and lonly
I have found my soul, my one and only
