The snow is all gone and things are turning green and the forecast was for rain all last week and this week.
So last week coming home from work we has huge flakes of snow floating down covering everything with a pristine mantle of white.
Beautiful but we were supposed to get rain.
Today the same thing happened.
Ah well this is the last week of April and May is almost in view.
We get lots of sprinkles and have in truth had some light rain.
Then it snows.
Can't complain though.
Mositure in any form is a blessing.
We're supposed to get rain,
So where did it go.
Instead of the rain,
We've got big flakes of snow.
Oh it's post card pretty;
Okay here's the thing,
We're supposed to have rain,
Because now it's Spring.
It's slippery and slushy,
And splatters and splats,
As cars rushing by,
Slide this way and that.
The flakes are now smaller,
And blowing sideways.
So where is the rain,
They said we'd have today?
