Forbidden Love

Like the touch of a butterfly wing
you made my heart flutter,
A quiver through my body
did you feel it too?

Your smile so warm and tender
sent shivers down my spine.
Was it you that
made the sun shine through the rain?

Our meeting was all too brief.
but we both knew
that had we been free.
Our passion would ignite the
flame of love.

But our fingers touched and my
heart took flight
Our all Consuming passion would
have taken us on a lovers flight,
To the mysterious world that only
true lovers know,
