Mine?

 In his arms
 He held me near.
 I ran my fingers
 Through his hair.

 He kissed me softly
 And made me sigh.
 Our love for each other
 We couldn't deny.

 The night was beautiful,
 Gentle and free.
 I wish that night
 could always be.

 But away he went
 And here I wait.
 While he's at home
 With his loving mate.
