For your eyes only

2026.04.10
It has crossed my mind,
Just once, we could share one night,
Lay on a soft green grass,
Under the starry light,
The sky be our blanket,
The lawn be our bed.
I turned away my back,
You gently stroke my side.
I rested with my eyes open wide,
As I wanted to see you whole night.

We would compete in writing,
As we did once in Philip Island,
After I swam freely in the ocean.
While you explored the tourist town.
It was 15 months ago,
Does it seem like yesteryear to you.
Faith made us cross path,
You broke our friendship apart.
That was all what left in my heart,
How you valued our relationship.
Life moves on regardless how one feels.
Time heals all wounds,
I pray it better be soon.
