For You Who Cares

This is for you
who profoundly
and magically
knows my heart,
To you who wants
to possess it,
it is for you who cares,
whose love envelopes
it with tenderness,
ironing and straightening
out the wrinkles
made in there by hurts,
and by the complexities of life.
Step in my Beloved,
possess it,
feed my heart with your love,
as if it's a new born baby,
nurture it back to life.
Sing to me a new song,
a song to soothe my soul.
Only you is what my heart needs
In other to heal.
I am ready and willing.
Let's do it together.
Life, this life is fast slipping away.
Let's make this moment our best.
