For Tonight

Beyond the gloom, your soul has shone the way 

You stir the peak of my night 
holding each vision in sight 
the blue of your eye 
roams thru my sky 
filling me with such delight 

For tonight: 
I crave to dance in your moon 
(radiate emotion) 
as we both now are attuned 
knowing how it's right 
I bask in your light 
feeling that I'm not immune 

stroll with me, 
our steps are one with the sand 
let my heart lead to your hand 
we'll gaze off afar 
wishing on stars 
together we understand
