FOR MY HUSBAND TOM, FOR TO KNOW HIM IS TO LOVE HIM. CHERI
For To Know Him, Is To Love Him-2
For inspiration's sake, to know him
Is to love him, for the power of unions
Sacred vows, to know him is to love him.
He is the pure essence of oxygen,
That feeds my very lungs, as I inhale
And exhale, the breath sustaining my very being,
And the reason for my existence itself.
For to know him, is to love him.
I've made creations offspring, to
Legacy's tribute, as my greatest gift,
For him whom I love, without
Restrictions boundaries, because
To know him is to love him.
Nay my whole world is his,
Without questions regrets,
In this unification of the heart and mind combined,
You see for me, to know him is to love him.
Let the mountains crumble into the
Dusts of time itself, but I will forever love him.
Yet nay let it be known, I shall remain beside him,
Always, for to know him is to love him.
Allow the tides of the sea,
To cease their very flow,
Yet even then know other
Soul can take his place,
For we belong together,
Always, for to know him is to love him.
May the sky crash, descending
Into the ground below,
Behold allow the night to swallow
The light of dawn itself.
But never will I leave him at
Any price, for to know him,
Is to love him.
Beyond death's icy grip, even than
I'll wait on the distant shore, avoiding
The seeking light of the lord himself.
For my loves devotion is vowed in promises
Dedication,
For to have known him, is to love him.
