For Those Whose Time Has Come
The sureness of the nearing twilight
marks the length of coming days for some.
It’s the sureness of a future bright
in the lives of those whose time has come.
They walk in strong, faithful company
with their companions of the true Light.
Throughout their days, they've walked with many
who have purposed in Him to do right.
Aspirations of a life fulfilled
are fleeting dreams lost at best for some.
They never turn aside to get still
and here the One, who to them says, “Come”.
But to those who find their rest in Him,
those who have journeyed THE WAY for years,
They’ve walked their call till they enter in
To that place where there are no more tears.
