For the Innocent Dead Biafrans

For the innocent dead biafrans 

I light up a peace full candle
 for the late

As it burns i feel your 
Presence among the living

As i hear the voice 
saying 
They can only kill 
But a few 
They cant kill all of us
Even when they do 
They cant kill the legacy 
of our struggle

Hmmm.... I breath in
As the peaceful candle burns

I realise even the dead at 
Rest lives among the living 

For their legacy is getting 
Us closer and closer 
To our long awaited freedom 

So as i mourn for the dead
 as i let them rest in peace 
I can never forget your gift
 to humanity 
Oh people of the rising sun.
