For Keeps

As sure as the moon morphs 
 Into different shapes each day 
          As sure as heaven 
Cries a torrent of tears in spring
       As sure as water seeks
                It's own level.
       As sure as oceans roar
    All day long, all year round
          As sure as twilight
  Never fails to follow daybreak
          And as sure as death
         is longer than life itself,
             Know this, too,
          This heart of mine 
  Will continue to beat, and beat, 
          For you, and only you. 
              I'm all yours.... 
               For keeps!
