for flir ty skir  ty
posie pies and lolly-
gagging bummings
i tip the cur
vy of my hat 
to cap-
less too e cummings

for tur  vy tops
and downside
ups 
his lemmings’
thrum
     um
          ummings
i clicks the brimmy
of my cup  
to brim-
less too e cummings

in thankfultude
for all he dood
un-doing with
his dummings
i tootootoot
in rootless hoots
for just-
less too e cummings

(with my apologies to this great poet,
but I am not too fond of a few of the
things he inspired in lesser poets!)

Lol well this definetly different. Lol. Funny write Hun. Re. I used to have her address but she's like 4 hr away from me. Maybe I will try writing her if I find address. I'm worried to. Not like her. Luv Michael

Guilty. yes i take my inspiration from him not to capitalize. yes e e cummings gives me my power to be different. but to be called a lesser poet. now for that i do protest. john

Great post for the "Something Different" contest! It's hard to write something that is outside your comfort zone isn't it? I have written one and it was difficult...I even got one comment saying she wishes she never read it! Oh well, at least I don't write that way! You did awesome with this poem! Wonderful Work!!
