For Jeanne Marie
Oh god was quick; so were we
to come so unexpectedly.
In final sleep we held your hand;
wept shocked tears in neverland.
Awakened, you to daylight,
how cruel his sun so bright,
to darken day before the moon,
before was quite not afternoon.
