For I Am a Bean
You are
To me, that is,
To be,
For me, definitely,
You exist
As more than just a pretty face,
Or the pleasant voice that calls my name,
For all seen is light betrayed,
And all sound is air in vain,
But you my dear,
Dear you are to me,
Definitely, much more to be,
I do not see just a pretty face,
I see a flame that will burn my wings,
Despite it all, I stand and stare,
And remain a moth because you are there,
And your voice that calls is not only heard,
I am on my toes for your every word,
I turn to you whenever you call,
Even perhaps, if you said nothing at all,
For you, you are to me, my queen,
To me, you are, you've always been.
