Notes About The Poem

For He Is Me

For He is Me
by M. Griswold

By the same mother we’re begat within.
Of one flesh and blood, I am apart of him.
Through the same spirit he’s a piece of me.
An imperfect reflection of another that be.

We may not agree in what each believes.
Nor see eye to eye in all each conceives.
Different in many ways and yet the same.
Each a part of a part from which we came.

For he is me and I am him within this life.
No matter each’s level of trouble or strife.
Accepting those differences that we do share.
I take his burdens as mine, in love, to fully bare.

A poem surely with meaning, eyes, ears and legs. And in some lines it sings

Mitchel, a wonderful rhyming poem with many great lines like this one, "Each a part of a part from which we came." I feel the same about my sister, we disagree on lots, have different personalities but we are as close as sisters can be cause she is part of me, and I am part of her _Constance
