For Freedom Lovers Only

                     Freedom Lovers


Know you not…that freedom is not free.
In each genaration, work at this assiduously!

Poets cringe at the any poem politicked?
They prefer rainbows as a subject, it makes patriotic, poets, sick!

You don’t have to go on a journey very far away, 
To know there’s a country where you cannot have your say

I ponder if you would really give a hoot?
If somebody put a muzzle on your snoot?

Unless you develop a heart of steal.
Liberty might be gone, that your heart, made of mush, cannot feel.

So don’t allow brainless hordes, to scare you to death
Fight for every freedom, till you’re very last poetic breath!

Eddie graduares in week? Since he was small, I made sure he knew how to speak up and out. Being an individual loses value. Our society (most!) fear or hate politics. Eddie registered in the draft, can discuss politics, 4.1 Grade point average and is going to the Midwest as you know , to attend university. You know there are more apt and awake here than we think, )) However, they must come out of their closet, so to speak. I can assure you that my feelings about you are the same.. The other writer below, Elena Eagle, does not write much but what she says it’s verifiably true and she doesn’t hide behind bushes! It seems all three of us are in the same boat and that feels pretty cool to me. There are plenty of Hitlers running around today, who are adored by the masses. It is really disgusting. They do believe anything they hear. I will keep reading you because you have your feet on the ground, I have tried to find an open poet for five years about the world as it is.
