For Freedom Lovers Only

Freedom Lovers Know you not…that freedom is not free. In each genaration, work at this assiduously! Poets cringe at the any poem politicked? They prefer rainbows as a subject, it makes patriotic, poets, sick! You don’t have to go on a journey very far away, To know there’s a country where you cannot have your say I ponder if you would really give a hoot? If somebody put a muzzle on your snoot? Unless you develop a heart of steal. Liberty might be gone, that your heart, made of mush, cannot feel. So don’t allow brainless hordes, to scare you to death Fight for every freedom, till you’re very last poetic breath!

Hi Linda…hope all going well. Eddie graduares in week? Since he was small, I made sure he knew how to speak up and out. Being an individual loses value. Our society (most!) fear or hate politics. Eddie registered in the draft, can discuss politics, 4.1 Grade point average and is going to the Midwest as you know , to attend university. Muzzle on the snooy, is …the beginning of our end.this is a worlwide disease Hus and than you. Hugs, Pangie

Something to think about. If freedom was free, then why has there been wars for thousands of years??? Peace will never come here on earth, only in heaven. Have a blessed day.........

Very true on peace is heaven! I cannot adress wars, that is a very detailed topic. I will say remember Hitler I know you do.. Germany ., Here is a reminder for you was planning to come to America and destroy us next! We live in an insane world that is godless and without morals. Man thinks he is God.? Pangie thank you

now there you go again Pangie, stoking the fires of "free speech" at the expense of those who would silence all but theirs, HOW DARE YOU...as an angry 12 year old once said...when the WOKE wake it may be too late. and as you know "free speech" is not, nor has it ever been, free.

You remind me of that very old song.. “ killing me softly with his song”.It’s about time that the free speech issue plus many others see the light of day,to me anyway ….it’s about real life.is not a puff piece about how great life is..its about beauty, truth, love sensuality, heartbreak and loss, betrayal, God, evil and good. Tell it! Sometimes life sucks and you know it .YET We’re not going to write it?When are we going to write about it ?when it’s too late?Too bad if we lose readers. I’ve been through that, and so what! I’m still here, I can get with you on the free speech, I am great at getting myself in trouble but I tell you John, telling the truth is the only way to fly. Speech is not free on TV, yes! Free speech is slowly being strangled. The sheep ignore the truth and swallow the propaganda. Understand when 65 million followed a madman in 1940s Germany and billions believe there is more than two genders, the world is sleepwalking. Glad to find another person who is wide awake. Hello Dave, Sleepwalking is an apt word. You know there are more apt and awake here than we think, )) However, they must come out of their closet, so to speak. I can assure you that my feelings about you are the same.. The other writer below, Elena Eagle, does not write much but what she says it’s verifiably true and she doesn’t hide behind bushes! It seems all three of us are in the same boat and that feels pretty cool to me. There are plenty of Hitlers running around today, who are adored by the masses. It is really disgusting. They do believe anything they hear. I will keep reading you because you have your feet on the ground, I have tried to find an open poet for five years about the world as it is. Terrorists, now live on in all Poetry is a perfect Avenue for those with strength.. ))) Pangie.

People take liberty for granted. They tend to bend to authority which is WRONG! The more one bends freedom and liberty is gone forever.

Americans are notorious for this. Even worse is they allow free speech to our darkest enemies. And call it free speech? If you make a positive comment about the government, you might not get read again. I find that very frightening. Hence poetry about nature.. very have the courage to write about politics.
