For Frank

For Frank, My friend, who never judged my gayness My brokenness, or heritage Or country, colour, language Who is the prettiest on Soup ;) (Apart from me, of course) Who loves beauty in all its forms My friend who knows of hardship Just like I do and survived and thrives Who speaks in capitals without yelling. My friend, who is proud of me And makes me smile Whose poems are on my fave list Let them Frank, don't get angry Let their pathetic opinion slide Across your back to your... And shrug it off Shake that pretty head of yours And smile :)

A truly wonderful thing you have done here but if I was to give Frank some advice that would be never waste your breath on arguing with ignorance they neither care or hear no matter how strong your position is..treat them the way you would treat a barking dog in the night..don't respond, let them bark for each time they do they reveal themselves to the rest of the neighborhood

Thanks Frederic :) I have been thinking what I should have done, most probably what Frank did... I wonder what the best attitude really is. Sometimes ignoring is, sometimes a confrontation, I am not sure.

Too many people in this world are trying to be someone else when the best person they could be is themselves.

Yes, so many people compare themselves to others. I have learned not to, not anymore. I am me, and if people have problems with that, so be it.

Our society has taught men not to express their emotions and we have generations of men dying from loneliness. Keep on expressing yourself. Anyone who doesn't like you doesn't understand you. Blessings and moe love in your direction. I enjoyed your tribute to Frank, he is also one of my favourites.

Thank you! I am the way I am, and I don't think I could express me other than I do. Much appreciated, and love to you too :)
