For An Angel
walking along the darkest roads
and giving up the fight
30 years of hardship
with nothing going right
so many roads to take
and wondering what way to go
walking along the darkest road
and giving up the hope
then one day out the blue
i see a little spark
an angel came my way
to lead me out the dark
so much hurt been through
and giving up all hope
this little angel came
and took me back home
as i sit and wonder why
and where the angel was
she was watch afar
to see what way i would go
i took the wrong direction
that was giving up the fight
nothing was going good
till you came in my life
we sit and talk for hours
from dark till morning light
the 30 years of this fighting
just faded like the rainbow
when you came into my life
angel where have you been
when i gave up on life
she slowly walked towards me
and whispers in my ear
any time you think if giving up
i will always be near
she gently kissed me cheek
when she says goodbye
and called out them lovely words
don,t give up without a fight
i asked her for her number
as she gently walks away
put your faith in your your heart
as we will meet again
for the darkest moment
that i was so grim
i now see the light
that angel left that day
look at life as a happy place
and never be in the dark again,,,
