Amelie Mara Poet Ode

For a Vacuum Cleaner

We glide together clearing grime away
Along murky rooms, under thick rugs
I lean on your unconditional care,
Absorbing this debris of my life.

Never mind the uproar you bring
For the comfort shared is enough
Protecting me from filth and trash-
Dust-buster, now I can spa!
