Just so cute! You let your mind muse! Laughed at “The Bump…Big Rump” last lines were corny and yet cute. Congrats, dear Sara!

Kim, what is in a name you know. Parents named their son Rusty, and their last name was Pipes. Parents named their little girl, Rose, with the last name of Bush. Sara K.

My heart yearns for the good old days when Liliane and I went dancing. A lovely poem.

What age took away from us, we can still live it in our heart, Victor. I can somewhat relate to your loss since my husband passed, of course, we did not dance together, and I don't know exactly why but we never did. I remember one lady who was reared in a church similar to the one I went to saying a dancing foot and a praying knee did not belong on the same leg. LOL..In the Bible, David when filled with the Spirit and with Joy of the return of the ark danced naked so I don't think it is wrong in the right circumstances as long as one keeps their clothes on. These footles on dance beautifully illustrate the different movements in a dance. Well done, dear Sara.

I love how you did the original footle style by using a fun title for each couplet . Great theme with dance

Thank you, Andrea. I enjoyed writing those with some help by looking up the names of dances back when. I wasn't sure what they were called back in the day. I wasn't allowed to do much dancing so only went to a few. I really am not a dancer. Thank you for the encouragement. Sara K.
