Fool's Gold
Fool's Gold
I fell in love with your looks,
Your mind, your body and soul.
Your dapper dress your fancy words,
Was something to behold.
Immediately, you showered me,
With things that made me smile.
My head spinning like a whirlwind,
As I enjoyed the lavish lifestyle.
Then before my eyes, as if in a dream,
A change in your character role.
To good to be true, your stone cold heart
Was nothing, but “fools gold.”
