Foolish Lover

You wore the dress
that I picked out
sexy black skirt
that I raved about

You came to me
as a flower in bloom
I kissed you
when you entered the room

You lifted your dress
I bled out
in my shaded bedroom
you made me shout

Stretched out next to you
I said I loved you perhaps too soon
as you plumed and plumed
I felt like a big baffoon....

the imagery in this one is simple yet fantastic . A very good one to read on my way off tonight. I really enjoyed it.

You are never sure when to say I love you and never sure how it will be received. As a poet you might reveal your emotions easier than others...I feel.you pain.....Tim

I'm sorry you felt like a buffoon....No one should feel that way. Thanks for the visit, Ken. I also enjoy reading your work.
