Fool Us 44 Times

Press clippings full of hope
    'Can't-miss prospect'
  Say pundits with inside dope

  Year One, Expectations Low
    Year Two, Frustrations Grow
Year Three, 'Can't-miss' has got to go

Jay Cutler, Mitch Trubitsky, Justin Fields
    Last three QBs of 44-in-a-row
Since Chicago Bears last won a Super Bowl

Go, Bears! As my hometown is Chicago, that’s all I know what to say. But I don’t know much about football . Oh my cousins co..but I don’t… we would get together on Sunday and the guys would all watch football. Da Bears! Who knows what will happen. By the way, well written. Pangie xx

Now that you write it like that, it seems pretty dire. Funny thing is, the first two stanzas apply to our selected, hmm, elected president(just off by 2). If I recall, the Fridge and company kicked the Pats' butts that year.

I would never rub it in Gershon. But as a Chiefs diehard fan, I found the game quite enjoyable. Sorry, my friend, I just couldn't resist.

Ouch! That's got to hurt. After the Cardinals beat Dallas (with three all=pro players out). I'm not my usual optimistic fan today. Your game was an ugly one too. Another week another chance. Have a good week of poetry writing, gw. Bill

Something tells me, it's not the QB's as much as them not being coached up. Coaching is a very important part of development. My .02 Great to see you again od friend:)

Well, in all fairness, Chicago's not exactly known for it's good decisions:) When I think of Chicago, I'm thinkin', Otis Rush, Elmore James, Buddy Guy, etc...

Well, you're right about coaching being important... And yet, 44 losers in a row says something, eh?! ~ Unbearable!
